Fat Joe & Keith Nut - WKCR Stretch & Bobbito Freestyle

text by 1992

I am sure I'm not alone when thinking about hip-hop that takes me back to certain places in time. For me,hip-hop and skating have gone hand in hand for years. From the old New Deal videos where I was introduced to Diamond D to hearing Lord Finesse on Pepe Martinez'(R.I.P.) part in Elements'-Fine Artists Volume One there are songs and artists I might have ever known about if it weren't because I skated...(I still do). One such video that I thought was different in that aspect was Zoo Yorks'-Mixtape which featured rare footage and freestyles of artists who had faded away or had blown up since it was recorded. In the early to mid 90's I used to scour shops and even went as far to buy Echo shirts(yeah,I know..but that was before it was Ecko) to get the Underground Airplay tapes that had obscure artists and freestyles on them. While searching youtube I decided to look some stuff that I haven't heard in a long time. I would like to share with you this freestyle that was used in Mixtape. This is from 1994 with Fat Joe and Keith Nut. I am also adding the Robbie Gangemi as well. Timeless part IMO. Enjoy.
